Summers can be one of the best times to visit Red River due to the many activities and events that are held here in our beautiful mountain town. Listed below are just a few of the Summer 2022 events that will be held in Red River, New Mexico.
June 4th: Red River Car Show
You will not want to miss the weekend of the Red River Car Show. During this weekend, over 150 of the classiest hot rods will be driving to Red River to show off their rides. Join us with your family and friends for activities in the park along with live music and great food. Following the car show, a Nashville-based country artist will be performing in the park. Don’t miss the opportunity to see John King live on Saturday, June 4th here in Red River! June 17: Art and Wine Festival
Join the Red River Chamber of Commerce for a weekend of wine, art, and music. Beginning on June 17 and going through the 19th, you can enjoy local wines as you stroll through Brandenburg Park and shop small crafts from vendors all around. Enjoy silent auctions as well as live music from local artists and artists from around the state of New Mexico!
4th of July Celebration
America’s birthday party is one you do not want to miss! Red River puts on the biggest 4th of July parade with parade entries from all around the Enchanted Circle. From cheerleaders to firemen to Red River’s finest marshals; the parade begins at 10 a.m. and lasts about an hour. After the parade, you can enjoy food and games at Brandenburg Park. Red River Community House also hosts family-friendly games like sack races and an egg toss.

Visiting us during Mothers Day or Fathers Day? No need to worry about a dull night in the cabin, there is usually always something happening down at Red River Community House! Nature
Discovery Camp happens only twice a summer and this day camp fills up fast, and the kids have so much fun! Sign the kids up for nature education mornings, and mom and dad can have brunch at Yesterday’s Diner. Check out the monthly schedule for daily activities held at the Community House. Take a hike to Middlefork Lake with the RRCH staff on Tuesdays starting June 7th. Line dancing is a great time with family and you might even make new friends! Mondays and Fridays are BINGO nights and begin at 6:30 p.m. sharp!
