5 of the Best Red River Wedding Locations

Your fiance and yourself decided to get married in Red River. Now, where exactly in town do you want to say your ‘I do’s’? Whether you’re planning a winter wedding or a summer wedding, there are many different places to choose from. Keep in mind that you can choose to hold the ceremony outside, but to have a backup plan just in case the weather forecast changes over time. Here are our top 5 best locations for a mountain wedding.

Indoor Venue- Double Dog Inn

The Double Dog Inn is a three-story luxury home on the river that sleeps up to 23 guests. This home features a commercial kitchen that can be used to prepare rehearsal dinners and wedding day meals by yourself or your caterer. There are a few different places at this location to hold your ceremony, whether it be inside the luxurious home or outside along the river. This home also has a heated driveway so if needed, your ceremony or reception can be held outside no matter the weather. This location is very popular for all weddings because your ceremony can take place during any of the four seasons.

Say I Do At the Top of the Mountain

A ceremony at the top of the mountain! If your wedding date is set for the spring or summertime then you can ride the chair lift to the top of the mountain for your ceremony. You can decide to do this alone, or with a few close family and friends. Once at the top, there are a few places with great views to choose from.

A Bridge Connects Many Things- Including Couples

The Bridge is located on River Street between the Conference Center and a large property we have in our rental pool, 101 River Lodge. This bridge attracts big weddings and small elopements thanks to the beautiful views of the mountain and the Red River. The bridge is covered and makes for perfect picture opportunities.

Big Wedding Needs a Big Space

The Conference Center can accommodate groups as large as 400 with over 10,000 square feet of space. There is enough room for a dance floor, a band or DJ, and it can easily accommodate both your ceremony and reception. Keep this location in mind as it sits on the river and has a commercial kitchen and offers a full bar service for use. It is also possible to rent out partial space of the Conference Center if your guest list is on the smaller side.

A Wedding in the Park

Brandenburg Park is a great location for a wedding ceremony during the warmer months. The park is located in the middle of town with views of the mountains and the slopes. There is also a pavilion in the park that can be rented for any of your wedding needs.

The best part about getting married in Red River is the different locations and seasons to say ‘I do’. No matter the weather, there is somewhere here in town that will be perfect for your big day. All these great locations will give you the opportunity to see wildlife. You may even get lucky and capture deer in your wedding photos.
