Keeping our guests safe and healthy is one of our top priorities. As people continue to travel to stay with us in Red River, they are still concerned about the cleanliness of their cabin. It is our job to ensure your safety and health are protected when you stay with us. The first impression you get of the property that you have booked can make or break your stay. Walking into a property that smells clean and IS clean is very important not just to our guests but to our staff and the owners as well.
Cleaning Process
To start the cleaning process in our properties, we start by stripping the bedding off the beds, gathering bathroom towels as well as kitchen towels and pot holders. From there, our cleaning crew begins to clean the bathrooms and kitchens with Ecolab’s disinfectant spray. Our team wipes down counters, tubs, sinks, and toilets. This disinfectant spray will kill germs almost immediately. Beds are also disinfected and remade with clean sheets from the office. Clean bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, kitchen towels, and bathroom mats are picked up from the office and placed in every property before the next guest arrives.
Cleaning Products
Here at Reservations Unlimited we use some of the best cleaning products available. One of the great products we use is Ecolab’s Peroxide Multi-Surface Cleaner and Disinfectant. This cleaner and disinfectant can disinfect surfaces as fast as 3 minutes, when mixed correctly. It can kill Covid-19 in 30 seconds and leaves your cabin smelling so fresh and clean that you can smell it when you walk into your property.
All of the bedding, including sheets and towels are washed using Ecolab laundry products. Lysol Laundry Sanitizer and OxiClean are also used; leaving the bedding and laundry smelling fresh and clean. Each surface in all of our properties are cleaned with a spray disinfectant, even the couches! Pine Sol can be diluted to clean multiple surfaces including floors, counter tops, and even toilets! Pine Sol is used in laundry that has heavy grease spots.
General Cleaning
Since the beginning of Covid-19, we have taken extra precautions and added in extra cleaning and disinfection measures to prevent the spread of Covid 19 and to keep all of our guests safe. By wearing gloves and sometimes masks we are protected from our cleaning products as well as sickness that may be going around. Cleaning rags and equipment are washed and wiped down after every property to ensure that it is ready for the next guest.
Cleaning surfaces that are touched by guests often is important to lower the risk of becoming sick. Some of these high-touch surfaces include door handles, handrails, taps, light switches, and remote controls. It is best to clean the surface with warm soapy water first and then use a disinfectant containing alcohol or bleach. Once the disinfectant is applied to the surface it is important to wipe it away after a few seconds.
Cleaning Supplies Are Available In Each Property
In order to ensure our efforts continue we have provided you with a few basic cleaning items in each property for your convenience. Dishwashers are emptied out, paper towels are replenished, clean linens are put away and cleaning detergent for dishes and the dishwasher are provided. Some of our properties have washers and dryers; therefore, you may want to bring some laundry detergent to use while you stay with us. Once everything is complete, your vacation rental is marked ready and awaits your arrival in Red River, New Mexico.
