Spring skiing is here and it’s the best time for other outdoor activities in Red River, New Mexico such as hiking, fishing, and ROV riding. You’re working from home and your children are doing school virtually, so take the opportunity and come see us in the mountains.
As another ski season comes to an end, the weather becomes erratic. It may snow one day and the next day the sun may be shining and it’s good weather to grab your fishing poles and hit the ponds.

Depending on how much snow is on the ground, you may be able to ride a few of the ROV trails. If you’re staying in the Upper Valley it’s possible that you can ride around the area if there isn’t too much snow. Pack a lunch and take a day drive to Cabresto Lake and enjoy the lake while you fish or watch other fishermen. It may be cold, but as long as you bundle up you’ll enjoy your time on the drive over.
Enjoy a hot meal and a nice cold beer at The Red River Brewery while you watch March Madness and cheer on your favorite college basketball team.
