Top Eats of the Enchanted Circle

As you make your way around, you’ll find plenty of great places to eat in the Enchanted Circle . You’ll enjoy the amazing scenery and breathtaking views as you make yourself around the 84-mile loop. You might just want to keep driving in circles until you’ve eaten at all the places in the Enchanted Circle we’ve found for you!

La Cueva Cafe

Locate in Taos, just south of Taos Plaza, on the corner of Paseo del Pueblo and Quesnel, this cute little café offers authentic and delicious Mexican dishes prepared fresh daily. All their food is 100% natural and gluten-free. They also offer several vegetarian dishes. We strongly suggest ordering up Ceviche Mexicano and the Chicken Mole Enchiladas. Feast on the Fiesta!  

Hail’s Holy Smoked BBQ

Located on Highway 434 in Angel Fire, this restaurant offers Texas-style BBQ with a touch of Mexican flair. They offer breakfast and lunch, so be sure to get your boots there early. You can’t go wrong ordering the Brisket. For the best of both worlds, order the BBQ tacos.  All their meat is smoked onsite and is some of the tastiest you’ll find anywhere! Yeehaw!

Cowboy’s Corner Cafe

We have found the perfect burger in Eagle Nest, New Mexico! Do yourself a favor and order the Green Chili Cheeseburger. You’ll find the crispest veggies and the best-flavored beef on a fresh bun just oozing with deliciousness.  The café offers a friendly-staffed, no-frills place to hang your hat and get some grub! Head down Highway 38 to grab your grub!

Calamity Jane’s

For a fun night in the traditional, saloon-style restaurant in Eagle’s Nest, stop at Calamity Jane’s! Surrounded by antiques that set the stage, enjoy BBQ at its finest, tasty burgers, or even chicken fried steak! While at a saloon, you may as well unwind with a drink!

Anchovies Pizzeria

If you find yourself hungry in Red River, stop by 100 West High Street for some of the best pizza to be found. Stroll in and order the grown-up version of a cheese pizza: the Domenico. This slice of Brazilian pie offers Mozzarella, Gorgonzola, Parmesan, and Catupiry Cheeses topped with Black Sesame Seeds and Truffle Honey. With a friendly staff and amazing pizza to boot, what’s not to love?

Wildcat’s Den

Check out this roadside café in Questa for great service and exceptional food! Order yourself a Bobcat Burger and a side of onion rings. You’ll find yourself amazed and looking for reasons to return! This family-friendly establishment is located on Highway 522 in the heart of town, which makes a return visit awfully convenient as you drive the Enchanted Circle.  Does anyone else hear their stomach growling?

There are many more restaurants waiting for you to discover along the Enchanted Circle route.
