Halloween in Red River is memorable, to say the least – with trick or treating, a haunted house, costume contests, and the beautiful color-changing landscape throughout town. Get ready to dress up, stuff your face with candy, and scream your lungs off when you book your October stay with us and spend Halloween in Red River!
Trick or Treat in Red River
Walk down Main Street and trick or treat at the local businesses with the kids. You have the option of *walking the street or riding the Miner’s Trolley. If you decide to take the Miner’s Trolley, they will drive you down Main Street and stop at participating businesses for trick or treating. The buses will depart from the Conference Center at 5 pm. Trick or treating is from 5 pm to 7 pm.
Just in case your kids don’t get enough candy while trick or treating, stop by our favorite candy stores in town. Satisfy that sweet tooth, at least until Thanksgiving, and grab an old-fashioned soda and jelly beans from Red River Candy Company or step into The Candy Crate once you’ve checked into your property.
Red River Haunted House
The Red River Haunted House is taking place on October 30th and 31st at The Community House. The $5 entry fee will go to the First Responders in Red River. The Hauntings begin at 6:30 pm sharp, so don’t be late! Creep through the halls with terrifying sights and loud screams. Scream at the top of your lungs with your family and friends this Halloween night!
