Why You Should Review Your Red River Vacation Rental Packet

You’ve planned your vacation to Red River, and you have found the perfect property for your stay; what’s next? Pack your bags and begin your drive to the beautiful mountains. Upon arrival, you should check-in* at the Reservations Unlimited’s office, located on Main Street. You will find envelopes taped to the front door with names corresponding to the reservations made. Pick up your envelope containing important information, including the entry door code, information about your property and other events in Red River. 

Your Red River Vacation Rental Information

Included in your check-in packet is a sheet with information about your property. It will tell you what items are provided, such as towels, toilet paper, trash bags, and other amenities. If needed, you can exchange your dirty towels at the office every other day, and a starter supply of *wood is provided for wood burning fireplaces. Your WiFi username and password can also be found on this sheet, so please be sure to keep up with it. If the property you are staying in is keyless entry, you will also find your keycode. Check out instructions are also provided. Should you have any questions, do not hesitate to call our office.

Hot tub instructions are included if your property has a hot tub. Please read this sheet carefully as you can be and will be responsible for any misuse or damages to the hot tub or its cover.  

Not all of our properties are pet-friendly, so be cautious when booking if you plan on bringing your dog with you. If you have any questions about our pet-friendly properties, visit our website or give our office a call. We will gladly answer any questions and point you in the right direction. If you bring Fido with you to Red River, ensure you have paid the non-refundable pet fee before your arrival to avoid a higher charge after checking out.   

Driving Directions to Your River Property

Driving directions from our office along with a picture of the home you have rented are provided for each stay. We ask that you use these directions as they have been written out and will take you straight to your Reservations Unlimited property so that you don’t get lost or end up at the wrong property. GPS is not always correct when giving directions in the mountains when using only a physical address. 

Events in Red River

There is always something going on in Red River year-round. There is a sheet of paper given to you at check-in that lists everything happening in town that week. You can find things to do, from yoga to ladies’ coffee, church services, trivia nights, wine tasting, watch parties and live music. 

Other Important Information For Your Red River Vacation

ROVs are allowed, but there are strict rules that you must follow. Provided for you are restrictions and guidelines for ROV use while operating within town limits. If you bring your own ROV or rent one from a vendor in the area, please read over this informative sheet and be mindful of the rules.

If, for any reason, Red River is under any kind of burn ban, we will have that information included with your check-in packet. We do our best to keep our town and surrounding forest safe. We don’t want an unwanted fire to get out of control and cause problems such as putting our town, your life, and the wildlife at risk. Closures, such as Midnight Meadows during Elk calving season, will be noted so we don’t disturb the wildlife.

*Wood is provided during the winter months to properties with wood burning fireplaces. If you run out of wood, you can purchase more by calling our office at 575-404-7643.

*Check-in begins at 3 p.m. MST daily, but a 3:00 PM check-in is not guaranteed during peak periods.
